Job summary

Chroma Color Corporation in Leominster, MA is seeking an Associate Extrusion Operator to set up, clean, and operate an extrusion line. This entry-level role requires following safety protocols and production instructions to ensure quality, with oversight as needed.

The job entails reading work instructions, completing paperwork, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while meeting production targets. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 months manufacturing/warehouse experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions; write basic reports.
• Basic arithmetic and unit conversion skills for weight, volume and measurements.
• Follow written work instructions and operate extrusion equipment to meet production targets and quality specs.
• Able to lift up to 55 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks, with safety PPE.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and cleaning protocols to extrude material per specifications.
• Understand and follow written work instructions to meet production targets and quality requirements.
• Complete required paperwork and ensure process consistency.
• Keep work area organized and safe at all times.
• Comply with all EHS requirements and company policies.
• Perform additional duties including housekeeping and assisting in other areas.
