Job summary

Texas Instruments in Richardson, TX is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, improvements, upgrades and installation of manufacturing equipment.

You will work with engineering and manufacturing to resolve issues, analyze tool data to improve performance, and coordinate supplier service as needed. Shifts include day or night plus weekend and holiday coverage. This role requires strong troubleshooting and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work 12 hour compressed schedule.
• One of the following: Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Automated Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Industrial Systems and Controls, Electromechanical Technology, or related field.
• 3 years of hands-on technical maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Improve system performance to meet process requirements and reduce downtime.
• Monitor and analyze data to improve tool performance and address issues.
• Coordinate supplier service and repairs as needed.
• Prepare technical reports and summarize findings with recommended solutions.
