Job summary

White Cap Supply Holdings, LLC. is hiring a Service Technician I for an on-site role in Houston, TX. You will support warranty and customer repairs, perform preventive maintenance inspections, diagnose electrical and hydraulic systems, and assist with selecting parts for repairs.

Qualifications

• Supports and conducts basic customer and warranty repairs.
• Assists with inspections for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Participates in inspecting new construction equipment from manufacturers.
• Assists in installing Salesman kits on equipment.
• Inspects trade-in units to prepare for sale.
• Diagnoses and repairs electrical and hydraulic systems and diesel/gas engines.
• Assists in selecting parts for estimates and repairs.
• Works with diagnostic tools and laptops to diagnose repairs.
• Generally has 0-2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports and conducts basic customer and warranty repairs including documenting with pictures or information.
• Assists with conducting inspections for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Participates in performing inspections on new construction equipment from the manufacturers.
• Assists with installing Salesman kits on new and used construction equipment.
• Supports the inspection of trade-in units to prepare for sale.
• Participates in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and diesel and gasoline engines.
• Assists in selecting parts needed for estimates and repairs.
• Works with diagnostic tools and laptops to diagnose repairs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
