Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as rollers, sheepsfoot compactors, haul trucks, and tractors with pull-type pans.
• Assist with the operation of dozers, excavators, skid loaders, and other heavy highway equipment as experience grows.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
• Work in rhythm with other operators and crew members to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Assist with excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks.
• Perform general labor duties when not operating equipment, including digging trenches or ditches, backfilling excavations, leveling earth to grade specifications, using hand tools, and lifting materials.

VTF Excavation is looking for Entry Level Equipment Operators to join our team in Celina, Ohio. We are a heavy highway, mainline utility, building site, and bridge construction company seeking motivated individuals who are ready to learn and grow in the excavation and construction industry.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and being part of a hardworking crew. While previous experience is helpful, we are willing to train the right candidate.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

High school diploma or equivalent
