Job summary

VTF Excavation, LLC in Celina, OH is seeking an Experienced Earthwork Operator to join our crew on the mass excavation side of our operation. The ideal candidate understands grading, site prep, and safety on job sites.

Requirements include 3-5+ years of earthwork, GPS/laser experience, basic blueprint reading, and the ability to work well with a crew; CDL Class A is preferred and in-house training is offered.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on earthwork and/or excavation experience.
• Strong understanding of job site safety, grading, trenching, and general site preparation.
• Experience with GPS, lasers, and basic understanding of blueprints.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a crew and take direction from foremen.
• Willingness to perform physical labor when needed in various weather conditions.
• Equipment operating experience preferred (excavator, dozer, haul truck, pan, compaction equipment, etc.).
• CDL Class A preferred - however we do offer in-house CDL training.

Responsibilities

• Perform site preparation, mass excavation, compaction, and final grading.
• Operate equipment and perform routine daily maintenance (greasing, fueling, etc.).
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
