Job summary
Weston Solutions, Inc. seeks an Associate Environmental Scientist to support the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of water treatment systems.
This hands-on role blends field and office work, including system monitoring, environmental sampling, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and documenting activities for EPA Region 3 projects. The successful candidate will contribute to protecting public health and the environment while working with a dedicated team across challenging field
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in sciences or related field required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to follow procedures and read manuals/schematics.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor water treatment systems and instrumentation.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs.
- Collect environmental samples and document results and logs.
- Calibrate and maintain field monitoring equipment.
- Follow safety rules and site procedures; participate in on-call rotations.
