Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Chemical or Environmental Engineer to join the Integrated Sustainability and Compliance team in Novi, MI, with hybrid work between offices, remote work and client-site visits.

Primary duties include air permitting, emission calculations, and environmental due diligence, supporting projects across Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Manufacturing sectors. Travel up to 10–20% is expected as projects require.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Chemical, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist industrial, commercial and federal clients with air permitting, waste management, stormwater pollution prevention and permitting, spill preparedness and response, wastewater discharge permitting, and associated regulatory reports.
• Prepare emission calculations for regulated air pollutants and greenhouse gases.
• Support our due diligence team with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and report preparation.
• Provide field and office support of site investigations including soil, water, and vapor sample collection and site inspections.
• Work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously utilizing strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
