Job summary

Homeland Safety Systems is seeking an entry-level Engineering & Sales Coordinator in Shreveport, LA. You will split time between Engineering and Sales, transforming blueprints and site photos into detailed floorplans in Visio, and helping map out security systems with our engineers.

You’ll help build proposals, keep CRM records accurate in HubSpot, and support lead follow-up while liaising between Sales, Engineering and Operations. Paid training starts immediately.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with paid training.
• Basic computer literacy and attention to detail required.
• Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot) is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn Visio and CAD-like design basics.

Responsibilities

• Create floorplans in Visio from blueprints, photos, or videos.
• Assist engineers with mapping security systems on floorplans.
• Support proposal documents, scopes of work, and project timelines.
• Coordinate between Engineering and Sales to keep proposals moving.
• Maintain CRM records and assist with lead follow-up.
• Help schedule meetings, site walkthroughs, and client communications.
• Track sales activity and contribute to weekly updates.
