Job summary

M.C. Dean, headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, is seeking new college graduates to join our Engineer 1 program across several tracks: Control, Design, Energy, Software, Systems, and Telecommunications.

You will work alongside experienced professionals in offices, labs, and project sites, gaining formal training and on‑the‑job learning to develop a broad, advanced skillset and to contribute to secure, resilient power and technology systems for mission‑critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Industrial Engineering, or similar discipline.
• Experience using CAD, SolidWorks, Revit, Python, SCADA, MATLAB, VHDL, or similar technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, install, and maintain equipment to monitor and control systems, machinery, and processes.
• Develop, integrate, and support project engineering deliverables through drawings, specifications, and installation planning.
• Drive energy efficiency initiatives and support sustainability commitments.
• Provide software development services for enterprise software in client and web environments.
• Provide system programming and management support for large-scale networking infrastructures.
• Design, coordinate, and specify telecommunications distribution systems for large projects.
