A leading engineering firm is seeking an entry-level engineer for a 11-month contract in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial) and possess communication skills. Familiarity with engineering plans and basic CAD/GIS proficiency is preferred. Adequate pay rates range from $30/hr to $34/hr based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with ABET Accreditation, preferred in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to learn quickly and read engineering plans.

Connaissances

Ability to read and interpret engineering plans

Communication skills

CAD/GIS – basic proficiency

Hydraulic analysis experience

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with ABET Accreditation. Preferred: Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Work Experience: Required: None
• Preferred: Prior internship or co‑op experience in an engineering field.
• Specific Skills & Knowledge Required: Ability to read and interpret engineering plans (familiarity and ability to learn quickly).
• Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Preferred: CAD/GIS – basic proficiency, hydraulic analysis experience, project management.
