Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to assist physicians and nurses during endoscopy procedures. You will help reposition patients, maintain a safe environment, and support admissions and discharges with patient interviews and chart documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and completion of an endoscopy technician training program (preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Completion of an endoscopy technician training program preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Competent in PEG, EGD, colonoscopies, and bronchoscopies within 180 days post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all endoscopy procedures under RN/MD supervision.
• Reposition patients on stretchers.
• Maintain patient safety in the procedure area.
• Assist in admitting and discharging outpatients and document charts.
