Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT is seeking an Electrical/Systems Engineer to contribute to the Portable Ship Control System (PSCS). You will participate in the full product lifecycle — from concept and requirements through design, prototyping, qualification testing, software development, delivery and post-delivery support as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will collaborate with vendors, perform systems integration, and maintain cybersecurity awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering by December 2026.
• 0–5 years of post-graduate engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance through the DoD.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full product lifecycle for the Portable Ship Control System (PSCS).
• Collaborate in systems integration, design, testing, and delivery.
• Work in a team environment with occasional travel and vendor coordination.
