Job summary

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking entry-level Electrical/Computer Engineers or Computer Science graduates to develop, test and support embedded control systems for the U.S. Navy's reactors.

You will design, implement, and validate real-time safety-critical software and hardware, working in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Strong candidates will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field, have project or internship experience, and demonstrate teamwork skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field; or
  • Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and test real-time safety critical embedded systems.
  • Collaborate in a team environment to apply systems, software and hardware development skills.
  • Contribute to development, testing and support of embedded control systems.
