Job summary

System One is seeking an entry-level Software Verification Engineer to join its aerospace electronics team in the Greater Philadelphia area. You will work on embedded software, review requirements, develop and execute tests, and learn FAA DO-178C/DO-254 processes.

The role targets recent graduates in CS/CE/EE with C programming foundations and a strong desire to learn. Training is provided; no prior verification experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience programming in C through coursework, internships, co-ops, research projects, or personal projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Review software requirements and technical documentation.
• Develop and execute software test procedures.
• Perform graphics, I/O, unit-level, and system-level testing.
• Conduct regression and differential analysis.
• Participate in code reviews for coding standard compliance.
• Document software defects and prepare technical reports.
• Learn industry-standard software verification processes based on FAA DO-178C and DO-254.
