Job summary

EyeBio is seeking a highly motivated entry-level Associate Scientist to support bioanalytical activities, including ELISA-based assay execution and PK sample analysis, contributing to early-stage and preclinical veterinary or biological product development.

This role involves generating reliable quantitative data to support PK and immunogenicity studies, following SOPs, maintaining electronic lab notebooks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a laboratory-based environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Immunology, or related field required.
• 2 years of laboratory experience (academic lab acceptable).
• Hands-on experience with ELISA or plate-based immunoassays.
• Basic understanding of PK principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform ELISA-based assays for quantification of proteins in biological matrices such as serum and plasma.
• Support PK sample analysis, including sample preparation and dilution.
• Execute experiments following SOPs and study protocols.
• Analyze and interpret assay data using SoftMax Pro, Prism, or similar tools.
• Generate standard curves and concentration calculations; maintain ELN documentation.
• Assist in assay qualification, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure GLP/GCP and internal quality standards compliance.
• Support method validation activities and data review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members.
