Position Details

An Electronics Calibration Technician Contract-to-Hire role is available in Everett, WA through Akkodis.

This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level Physics, BSEET, BSEE, Mechatronics, or other graduates interested in hands-on work, or for technicians with 1-5 years of experience.

  • Shift: Afternoon to Evening
  • Rate: $28 - $30/hour (negotiable based on experience, education, location, and other factors)

Potential to increase your rate by $2/hour with strong performance once the position converts to full-time/salaried/direct hire.

Training: FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED

Responsibilities include:

  • Calibration and testing of fiber optic test equipment
  • Recording data during calibration
  • Identifying out-of-tolerance conditions
  • Interacting with technicians, customer service reps, and customers

Qualifications:

  • BS in Physics or Electrical Engineering, or A.S. in electronics (or similar), or relevant electronics experience
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Basic circuit testing/troubleshooting from academic or practical experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Calibration experience is a plus
  • Experience with fiber optics and metrology equipment is a plus
  • This role does not involve troubleshooting as a repair technician, though related experience is helpful
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and succeed
