Base pay range

$28.00/hr - $40.00/hr

PAY: 28-40/hr

DURATION: 6 months contract, potentially contract to hire

BENEFITS: Medical insurance, 401K, sick leave as applicable by state law, and EAP.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support for assembling motors and motor prototype components.
  • Use test equipment to perform comprehensive testing and evaluations of components and systems to confirm functionality and compliance with design specifications.
  • Partner with engineers to build engine prototypes.
  • Keep thorough and precise records of equipment servicing, repair work, and testing processes.
  • Prepare detailed reports that summarize findings, test results, and suggested enhancements.
  • Use critical thinking to resolve technical challenges and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Accurately interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a mechanical engineering technician.
  • Aerospace experience is ideal but not required.
  • Experience working with test equipment.
  • Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities and the capacity to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
