Qualifications

• Understanding of fundamental mechanical engineering concepts (mechanics, materials, heat transfer, manufacturing processes).
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to complete well-defined tasks with guidance from peers/managers.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced development environment with evolving priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design electromechanical solutions for avionics packaging, interconnects, thermal management, and aircraft integration.
• Create and update 3D models, engineering drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
• Assist with structural, thermal, and modal analyses under guidance of experienced engineers.
• Document mechanical interfaces for circuit cards, connectors, wiring, and harnesses.
• Support prototype builds, system integration, environmental testing, failure analysis, and flight-test readiness.

Education
