Job summary

Collabera is seeking a Production Technician to support electro-mechanical manufacturing in a fast-paced environment. You will perform hands-on assembly, handle materials, run quality checks, and document records to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable data entry, and adherence to procedures in a clean production setting. Candidates should be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds safely.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions in English.
• Experience using handheld scanners and computer systems for data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools in a mechanical or manufacturing environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly by following assembly instructions, blueprints, specifications, and parts lists.
• Assemble components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
• Support material handling activities, including staging, moving, and delivering materials to production workstations.
• Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other approved material handling equipment safely.
• Assist with kitting, labeling, and organizing production materials and components.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation, scanning, and system updates.
• Conduct quality inspections and accurately document production and quality records.
• Follow written work instructions and perform data entry in manufacturing systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining production supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while collaborating effectively with team members.
