Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking an entry-level Truck Driver Transmission to support the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical transmission systems at various locations. The role requires safe operation around energized equipment and the ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities include assisting with installations, wiring, and component replacements, while ensuring equipment and PPE are properly maintained.

Qualifications

• Must have the physical ability for rigorous labor.
• Capable of learning basic line-work materials and procedures.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice when required.
• Must understand proper use of company radio and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance or repair of energized/de-energized transmission work.
• Assist with installing transformers, insulators, switches and switchgear.
• String overhead wire and set poles/anchors.
• Replace fuses and clear faulted circuits.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
