Job summary

Innovative-IDM, LLC is hiring an entry-level Manufacturing Technician I to assist in assembling and wiring industrial control panels per engineering drawings and UL 508A standards. Under supervision, you will develop safety, wiring, and quality workmanship skills while preparing for growth in the Manufacturing Technician career path.

Essential duties include panel assembly, electrical wiring, documentation, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, electrical, or related experience.
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical manufacturing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble control panels and subassemblies according to engineering drawings, schematics, and layout documentation.
• Mount DIN rail, wire duct, terminal blocks, relays, contactors, circuit breakers, power supplies, PLC hardware, and related components.
• Perform wire cutting, stripping, ferruling, crimping, labeling, and terminations according to company standards.
• Route wiring neatly and maintain proper separation between voltage classes.
• Follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions during assembly activities.
• Inspect work for accuracy prior to supervisor or QA review and maintain basic assembly records.
