Job summary

Mead & Hunt, a national architectural, engineering and construction firm, seeks an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer for our West Allis, WI office. You will support the design and development of industrial electrical systems and collaborate with experienced engineers on technically challenging projects while building a strong foundation in electrical engineering consulting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
Experience with CAD/BIM and design software preferred.
Familiarity with regulatory codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Preparing electrical engineering documents.
Assisting with the analysis, preparation or modification of reports, plans, schedules, studies, and designs for projects.
Performing electrical design calculations.
Assisting with the preparation of design and construction budgets.
Designing industrial electrical systems such as low- and medium-voltage power distribution and raceways, motor control centers, and lighting (indoor and outdoor).
Designing industrial control systems such as industrial control panels, motor and control circuit schematics, and networking systems.
Attending client meetings and/or serving as an on-site project representative.
Some travel will be required.
Other duties as assigned.
