You will work with senior engineers on renewable energy projects and receive structured mentorship, with hands-on design responsibilities growing over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in electrical design or related engineering discipline.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other drafting software (preferred).
• Basic understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); MathCAD familiarity is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations, drawings, and reports.
• Curiosity, initiative, and eagerness to learn new engineering concepts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and revising basic design drawings with guidance.
• Perform basic engineering calculations to support design decisions.
• Prepare reports, calculations, and deliverables that meet technical standards.
• Review personal work for accuracy and contribute to team quality control reviews.
• Research and apply state and local design codes and ordinances for compliance.
• Learn to apply engineering principles to site designs and critical problem-solving.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to gain exposure to project coordination and technical challenges.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, providing project-specific design criteria as needed.
