Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking entry-level Electrical/related engineers for the Defense Systems sector in Roy, UT. Positions may be filled as Associate Electrical Engineer (T01) or Electrical Engineer (T02) within the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division.

The role requires a completed degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or Computer Science and the ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree completed from an accredited institution.
• Majored in Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
• Ability to obtain Special Access Program clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requests (RFPs/RFQs) and help identify technical requirements and risks.
• Support the creation of preliminary designs, system concepts, and high-level architectures to meet customer needs.
• Prepare technical content for proposals, including: System descriptions and design summaries, block diagrams, simple drawings and figures, technical compliance matrices and responses to requirements, design analysis.

Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or Computer Science
