Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong technical fundamentals.
• Have been part of an engineering team/club.
• Experience with electrical design software (Altium, KiCAD).
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (S//SAR) desired.

Responsibilities

• Own a design that directly impacts the X-BAT system and flight milestones, with mentor review.
• Full lifecycle ownership: concept, design, verification, integration, flight test, manufacturing.
• Circuit design for embedded systems (analog, digital, power, high-speed, FPGA, MCU, EMI/EMC).
• System integration and verification.
• Environmental test, qualification, and automation.
• Debug, root cause, and resolution.
• Design for high reliability under radiation, temperature changes, and vibration.
