Qualifications

• Fundamentals of neat, legible drawings.
• Basic CAD drafting techniques including 2D geometry, text and dimensions.
• Experience with KeyCreator (CADKey) or equivalent and Zuken E3.
• Intermediate knowledge in trigonometry, algebra, and plane/solid geometry.
• Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Studies and understands the fundamentals in creating neat, legible drawings.
• Learns standard CAD drafting techniques and skills to create/modify 2D geometry, text, and dimensions.
• Prepares detail engineering drawings from data such as previous drawings and layouts.
• Revises CAD drawings from instructions or change notices.
• Repairs or redraws damaged drawings including re-dimensioning and simple tolerancing.
• Verifies own work for dimensions and materials.
