The position is in Cary, NC with four days onsite and one day work-from-home per week. The engineer will support electromechanical sensing and actuation systems, including active noise and vibration control, tactile feedback, and drive-shaft torque sensing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics engineering or related field required.
• Experience with digital and analog circuit design and analysis.
• Experience with board-level debugging using lab equipment.
• Familiarity with schematic capture tools such as OrCAD, Altium, Cadence Allegro, and PSpice.

Responsibilities

• Perform design assurance activities for aerospace electronic hardware.
• Assist in requirements development, validation, and verification.
• Update electronics designs using schematic capture.
• Analyze electrical circuits using simulation tools.
• Support layout reviews applying DFM best practices.
• Conduct design verification tests on PCB assemblies.
• Execute EMI/EMC and environmental qualification tests.
• Work with senior engineers to meet project objectives.
• Maintain clear communication with project leadership.
• Support lab testing of development and production hardware.
• Use standard lab equipment and recommend new gear.
