Jobot is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer I for contract or direct-hire engagement in Pinellas Park, FL. The role targets new grads with internship experience and focuses on developing control system designs and electrical drawings using AutoCAD.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in electrical controls preferred.
Proficient with AutoCAD and interpreting electrical diagrams.
Familiar with NEC, NFPA, IEC standards.

Responsibilities

Review customer specifications and project inputs to ensure requirements align with scope.
Develop electrical control system designs for OEM equipment per standards.
Prepare and revise electrical drawings using AutoCAD and company templates.
Collaborate with project teams to meet schedules and deliverables.
Support sales with project scopes and estimates.
