Job summary

Duke Energy in Cincinnati is seeking an entry‑level EHS Consultant to provide environmental support to Customer Delivery and Transmission teams across OH, KY and SE Indiana. Under supervision, you will build knowledge, handle basic compliance tasks, and grow toward greater independence.

Responsibilities include basic regulatory reporting, training support, and helping develop procedures to keep facilities compliant with environmental laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years related work experience in Health and Safety, Science, or Engineering
• Experience or coursework in environmental regulatory compliance
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work with limited supervision and develop procedures

Responsibilities

• Develop basic knowledge of organization and processes; analyze information to support management decisions
• Serve as coordinator to implement environmental activities and provide compliance solutions
• Assist with basic regulatory reports and training programs
• Help develop and maintain procedures to ensure compliance with environmental laws
