Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Data Specialist I to join our DOJ Civil Division Frauds Lab eDiscovery Team in Washington, DC. This entry-level role works under a project manager to load, convert, index, and QC data for litigation support databases such as Relativity/RelOne.

Responsibilities include performing basic load file creation, native file processing, TIFF conversion, and reporting. A hybrid, full-time position requires MRPT credentials and may involve evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• MRPT facility credentials/authorization required and US citizenship is required for this location.
• Undergraduate degree preferred in computer science or information management/technology fields.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute eDiscovery data loading, conversion, indexing, exporting and QC checks.
• Create and modify basic load files for Relativity/RelOne and similar platforms.
• Perform native file processing, TIFF conversion, and other conversion services as needed.
• Communicate with legal teams regarding data sets and issues.
• Identify and report loading errors to senior team members and assist with fixes.
• Perform QC tasks and track statistics for all work in the tracking system.
• Scan paper documents and maintain accurate records.
• Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting on project status.
• This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) in a hybrid role at a secured facility in Washington, DC.
