Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare for exams by patient education and safety checks.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging.
• Document exam results and apply correct charge codes.
• Maintain equipment and work area in good condition.
• Mentor caregivers and students in equipment use and techniques.
