Job summary

Garver is seeking an entry level Drainage Project Engineer to join our Transportation Team in Lawrenceville, GA. The role offers real-world experience in drainage design, post-construction and stormwater management, and the opportunity to learn industry software.

The successful candidate will hold a civil engineering degree (ABET-accredited) and may pursue EIT certification within six months, along with strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to become registered within 6 months.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside our team across drainage engineering aspects, including post-construction and stormwater management, drainage systems design, permitting, and H&H modeling for bridges and culverts.
• Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and calculations related to drainage, E&S Control, LID/GI, and SCMs.
• Receive real-world experience and training in industry-related software.
• Be a strong team player and aim to become a key member of the design team.
