Job summary

Halliburton is seeking an entry-level Tool Tech to perform maintenance on down-hole tools, surface equipment and other production equipment. You will assist with assemblies and disassemblies, while emphasizing safety and environmental guidelines.

Strong basic reading, writing and math skills are required. A candidate may need licensure to drive commercial equipment and must communicate effectively with teammates in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills required.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• This is the entry level position into the tool tech family.
• Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, performs maintenance on down-hole tools, surface equipment and other production equipment.
• Assembles and disassembles down-hole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment.
• Basic computer skills are preferred for supporting tasks.
• Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required.
• Communicates effectively with team members.
• Performs basic mathematical calculations as needed.
