Advance Auto Parts in Carlisle, PA is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive and parts knowledge, plus the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

This position can be part-time or full-time. Candidates should be able to perform battery testing/installation, stock management, inventory accuracy, and provide friendly, safe service to customers.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English clearly; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic automotive knowledge and parts lookup proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock.
