Job summary

American Electric Power (AEP) is seeking an entry-level engineer to contribute to safe, reliable project work under the guidance of experienced engineers. You will gain familiarity with standards, codes, equipment and business processes while supporting routine tasks.

The position requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree. Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is encouraged and a PE license may be pursued in the future. You will help plan, estimate costs and monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Entry-level engineering role requiring a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Ability to assist higher-level engineers on well-defined problems and analyses.
