Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services is hiring an experienced Trailer Technician to join our high-performing service team in Alabama. If you're reliable, hands-on, and love solving problems, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll do includes preventive maintenance on trailers, DOT/FHWA inspections, tire/brake/suspension repairs, electrical/ABS troubleshooting, welding/fabrication, and road service calls. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Must possess or obtain a toolbox and required tools.
• Team player mindset and a professional attitude.
• Ability to travel occasionally for training or customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Conduct electrical and ABS troubleshooting & repairs.
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
