Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services in Arcadia, FL is seeking an entry-level Diesel & Trailer Technician to join our hands-on service team. You’ll perform preventative maintenance on trailers and refrigerated units, gaining skills through on-the-job training and contributing to reliable fleet performance.

This role emphasizes reliability, problem-solving, and teamwork, with a $2/hour night shift differential, ASE certification pay, and a benefits package including PTO from day one,

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must possess or obtain a toolbox and required tools.
• Team player mindset and a professional attitude.
• Ability to travel occasionally for training or customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Conduct electrical and ABS troubleshooting & repairs.
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Reefer unit experience is a plus.
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
