Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. in Tampa, FL seeks a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime. You will work on makes and models across our fleet, including aerial lifts, pumps, and HVAC gear, in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical system basics, flexible in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in a safe, effective manner to minimize downtime.
• Work with a fleet that includes aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and related equipment.
• Adapt to changing priorities; contribute to a safety‑focused team.
