Job summary

Schneider in Green Bay, WI is seeking an Entry Level Diesel Technician to start a shop career and perform routine maintenance on trucks and trailers. You will handle component replacements and troubleshooting and use maintenance software to track work orders.

Responsibilities include performing routine repairs, communicating progress to customers, stocking and managing inventory, and supporting general shop duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Relevant diesel/maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with maintenance software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance to include tire changes, minor electrical repairs and greasing.
• Use maintenance software to create and track work orders.
• Communicate status updates to internal customers.
• Assist with general shop duties, including stocking, managing inventory and tracking repairs.
