Feeser's Food Distributors is seeking an Entry-Level Diesel Mechanic in Harrisburg, PA. You’ll join the fleet maintenance team and gain hands-on experience maintaining and repairing commercial trucks and trailers.

No extensive diesel experience is required; the role emphasizes dependability, safety, and willingness to learn in a professional setting. You’ll work alongside seasoned technicians in a supportive shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred but not required.
• 0-2 years of diesel/automotive/mechanical experience is acceptable.
• CDL Class A is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel trucks and trailers.
• Complete oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and inspections.
• Inspect and service brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and other vehicle systems.
• Perform basic diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Assist experienced technicians with more advanced repairs.
• Complete safety inspections on fleet vehicles.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Use diagnostic equipment and electronic work-order systems.
• Keep shop areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Help ensure vehicles meet company and regulatory safety standards.
