Job summary

Feeser's Food Distributors in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of diesel trucks and trailers. This hands-on role requires diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and completing repairs with minimal supervision.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical problems, service brakes, suspension, axles, and lighting systems; install and repair liftgates and related equipment; assist with refrigerated units and HVAC maintenance;

Qualifications

• 2+ years of diesel, truck, trailer, or fleet maintenance experience
• Experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues
• Knowledge of brakes, suspension, electrical, and trailer systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• EPA 608, refrigeration, HVAC, welding, or other mechanical certifications are a plus

We're looking for a hands-on mechanic with experience maintaining and repairing diesel trucks and trailers. If you're comfortable troubleshooting mechanical problems, performing preventive maintenance, and completing repairs with minimal supervision, we want to hear from you.

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

• Diesel or automotive technical training is a plus

• EPA 608, refrigeration, HVAC, welding, or other mechanical certifications are a plus
