Job summary

Required: high school diploma, graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program, and BLS; RDCS or RCS certification within one year of hire or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, record, analyze and present patient exams (transthoracic and stress).
• Assist with transesophageal procedures and sterile technique when needed.
• Operate Hospital/Cardiology IT systems and Office software.
• Respond promptly to patient needs using critical thinking.
• Follow safety standards and preserve quality and safety goals.
• Report near misses and input errors into the safety system.
• Maintain Echocardiography equipment and supplies.
• Use resources efficiently; avoid waste.
