Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Junior DevSecOps Engineer to assist in maintaining and operating CI/CD pipelines and security tooling for the software development team in Chantilly/Herndon, VA. You will work with senior engineers to strengthen observability, security, and automated testing while growing skills in IaC, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Applicants must be a US citizen with an active TS/SCI and Full-Scope Polygraph.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance and Full-Scope Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 0–4 years of experience with CI/CD concepts or automated pipelines.
• Foundational exposure to automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and config management.
• Familiarity with Git, GitLab, and Jira.
• Basic Linux systems administration and networking principles.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Commitment to DevSecOps best practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
• Support integration of security tools and scanning into CI/CD workflows.
• Assist in automated testing, including unit, integration, and UAT.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in deployed applications.
• Maintain adherence to security regulations and team procedures.
• Learn and apply IaC and modern DevSecOps tools under senior guidance.
