Job summary

Belcan in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Entry-Level Design Engineer to support tooling design for building aircraft engines. This full-time, direct-hire role offers full benefits and includes the chance to work with experienced engineers on new tooling concepts.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering and are proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with modeling tools (NX or ANSYS preferred) is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Experience with stress analysis, technical writing, and manufacturing process.
• Knowledge of industry standard practices and project organization; task supervision by design/drafting personnel.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized and possess excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment design and development.
• Design, including concept sketches and layouts.
• Preparation of specifications and design calculations.
• Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by subordinate engineers, designers, and vendors.
• Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors.
• Presenting engineering design review presentations
