Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire design cycle of mechanical subsystems, including conceptual and detailed design, trade studies, development testing and qualification.
• Perform engineering calculations to validate component and system design (FBDs, structural analysis, vibration, flow, heat transfer).
• Participate in life cycle engineering of turbomachinery components.
• Provide engineering support during manufacturing and for fielded hardware.
• Review drawings for form, fit and function.
• Perform tolerance stacks per ASME Y14.5 2009.
• Collaborate in team to meet project goals, time, budget and quality.
• Create technical documentation for flight hardware development and testing.
