Insight Global seeks an Engineer Technologist to map and design utility pole distributions. You will review survey packets detailing pole locations and attached assets, and translate this data into a digital distribution map for project execution.

The role requires 1–5 years in design/drafting/GIS or related fields, and an Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. A Architect degree is acceptable from non-ABET schools, with a valid driver’s license.

• 1-5 years of experience in design, drafting, GIS or telecom/utility related fields.
• An Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture suffices from non-ABET colleges or an Associate degree.

Job Description:

The Engineer Technologist will be assigned to a project that requires utility pole design mapping. They will be given survey packets of the poles they are mapping. These surveys were collected by the people out in the field. With the survey packets they will know the geographic location of the poles and the different assets (wires, boxes, etc.) attached to each pole. They will use all this information to digitally create the design "distribution" map.
