Overview

The Engineer will be assigned to a project that requires utility pole design mapping. They will use survey packets of the poles they are mapping, which include geographic locations and the assets attached to each pole. They will digitally create the design "distribution" map using this information.

Responsibilities

• Analyze survey packets and field data to accurately map utility poles and attached assets.
• Produce a digital distribution map reflecting geographic locations and configurations.
• Collaborate with field teams to ensure mapping accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s of Engineering from an ABET-accredited program such as Mechanical, Civil, or Structural
• 0-3 years of experience in design, drafting, GIS, or similar experience within telecom, fiber, networking, engineering, construction, utilities, etc.
• Valid driver\'s license, clean MVR

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in power, energy, utilities, construction, or related fields
• Experience with CAD, AutoCAD, Katapult, SpidaCalc, or any similar software
