COUNTY OF LEHIGH seeks an entry-level Deputy Sheriff to support courtroom security and the transport of prisoners, reporting to a higher-level supervisor. This role is designed as an entry-level position within law enforcement.

Applicants must already be ACT120 certified or ACT2 certified, be up-to-date with First Aid training, and hold a valid PA driver’s license. Salary listed is an hourly rate of $27.94.

Qualifications

• Applicants must already be ACT120 certified (Police Academy Graduates) or ACT 2 Certification to be eligible.
• Must keep First Aid training up-to-date.
• G.E.D. or High School Diploma required.

Responsabilités

• Assist a Deputy Sheriff who is at the full performance level and report to a higher-level supervisor.
• Provide courtroom security and transport prisoners; other duties may be assigned.
