Job summary

Brooksource is hiring motivated, early-career individuals to support critical data center infrastructure in Oregon. This hands-on role uses structured online training and on-the-job learning, with a clear path to permanent employment after 6 months.

You will assist with mechanical and electrical systems, perform inspections, log data, and help with equipment installs, while following strict safety procedures. Onsite in Umatilla or Hermiston with a 4‑day work week and rotating 10‑hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in environments with tools, equipment or machinery.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to long-term growth in data center operations.
• Self-motivated with ownership mindset and ability to take feedback.
• Willingness to pass background check and drug screen; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of mechanical and electrical systems in data center facilities.
• Perform routine inspections, equipment checks, and operational rounds.
• Log readings, document observations, and respond to system alerts.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain facility uptime and reliability.
• Assist with equipment installs and facility buildout activities.
• Follow safety and operational procedures at all times.
• Complete structured technical training through online learning modules each shift.
