Job summary

Ericsson seeks an Associate Data Center Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance in hyperscale and enterprise data centers. This entry-level role is ideal for those starting in data center operations, telecommunications, or technical infrastructure.

You will work with a collaborative team on staging, rack prep, cabling, labeling, inventory, and documentation, building knowledge alongside experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and telecom equipment.
• Familiarity with copper and fiber cabling concepts is a plus.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and follow work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and stage equipment and cabling.
• Perform inventory checks and update tracking systems.
• Assist with rack positioning and prep under guidance.
• Install rack accessories and support MACD activities.
• Patch copper and fiber per maps and instructions.
• Route cabling and apply labels per standards.
• Capture serial numbers and installation records.
• Follow safety, quality, and SOPs at all times.
